Other Treatments:
Tui Na  (pronounced to wee na)-
Tui Na is a medical massage based on the principles of Traditional Chinese Medicine that targets specific points of injury or pain. Tui (push) Na (pluck) is done mostly through the clothes or under a sheet. Patients are encouraged to wear loose fitting clothing when coming for treatment. Ancillary treatments like cupping or moxibustion may also be used in a Tui Na session.

Cosmetic acupuncture or facial rejuvenation acupuncture-
Cosmetic Acupuncture is an effective, non-surgical treatment to reduce the signs of aging. It is based on the principles of Chinese Medicine, which involves the insertion of very thin disposable needles into the acupuncture points on the face. This superficial insertion will increase the local circulation to parts of the face that need it most  plumping up fine lines and giving firmness to the skin for a healthy, glowing complexion. Patients are encouraged to have 1-3 treatments per week for a total of 10-12 treatments for best results.

Moxibustion for breech presentation-
The Chinese learned many years ago that if moxa (mugwort herb) is burned under the pinky toe, a baby that has not positioned him/herself correctly for birth will go ahead and prepare. This is a one time visit where the practitioner will show the patient what to do. The patient will be given a moxa stick to take with them so that they may perform the treatment on themselves at home.

Cupping-
Cupping therapy involves the use of glass cups that have the oxygen burned out of them creating a vacuum effect on the skin. This is effective treatment for moving stagnated Qi or blood which can cause localised pain. Cupping is usually done in addition to other treatments like acupuncture or tuina; although, it can be an effective treatment by itself.
